INDX Furniture delivers much awaited in-person showcase
AIS Members, general trade and industry suppliers turned out in force to support the INDX Furniture show which took place at Cranmore Park from 01- 02 September.
The first in-person showcase for over 18 months, this long-awaited edition of the show (formerly the AIS Furniture Show) was also the first under the INDX Show banner, with Furniture, Linens and Housewares all having recently joined the successfully established INDX portfolio as part of the INDX Home umbrella.
The teams responsible for planning the show worked hard to ensure the well-being of all its visitors and exhibitors and despite the challenges of holding a live event whilst adhering to Covid-19 guidelines, the show successfully delivered an exciting selection of market leading exhibitors, and a friendly, professional environment conducive to placing orders.
The two-day event was backed by over 30 suppliers and was well attended by AIS Members and retailers from across the UK, with everyone keen to get back to business as usual:
“The entire AIS Team were delighted to be able to host a physical show, welcoming back members and suppliers after a long absence. The show once again proved to be well received and successful with a wide range of suppliers and visitors who were appreciative of our efforts to stage a meaningful event in what continues to be a very challenging period. We thank all the visitors and exhibitors for their continued support and look forward to welcoming you back in January 2022” - Julian Cox, Director of Furniture & Home, AIS
Exhibitors were among the first to herald the show a success, praising the organisation of the show and the buoyant mood of the visiting buyers:
“We had a really strong show across all 3 brands, Venjakob, 3C - Das Sofa and Disselkamp. The buyer was exactly the right quality for our products and the appetite to buy was also there. It was nice to catch up with everyone and present all the new products after all the uncertainty of the last year. We are already looking forward to exhibiting again in January and launching the 2022 collections” - Simon Kent, Exhibitor
“Well done and thank you to all the team for the general show organisation, and for making suppliers and customers feel welcome and safe! We had an enjoyable and productive show, it seems an age since we’ve been able to meet and do business in this way. We were very pleased to have been given the opportunity to exhibit HTL and Corium Italia at the September Show and we hope to see everyone again next January”
– Mark Flint, Exhibitor
Visiting retailers such as Paul Glasswell from Glasswells, have also provided some extremely positive feedback on the show:
“INDX Furniture continues to be a vital part of our selection process. All our biggest trading partners are gathered under one roof and there is a huge advantage in quick comparisons of best sellers. Our time is very well spent at an AIS show when the initial selection and negotiating has already been carried out for us”
INDX Furniture will return to Cranmore Park from 24-25 January 2022 and following the success of the September 2021 edition, suppliers are already lining-up to reserve their stands. Buyers are advised to keep an eye on the INDX Website for information about registering for the show: www.indxshows.co.uk
