August 2022 | July show hailed a sucess- revealing a new name for 2023
The homewares industry recently turned out in force to support the 2-day INDX Housewares & Linens show which took place at West Midlands event venue Cranmore Park on 13-14 July.
Organised by leading UK buying group Associated Independent Stores (AIS), INDX Housewares and INDX Linens joined forces to offer a combined format for the second consecutive trial, and following feedback from suppliers and retailers, the combined format will continue long-term, and from 2023 the show will be re-branded as INDX Homewares.
“We’ve twice trialled holding the INDX Housewares and INDX Linens shows together and following the success of these combined format shows, we’ve made a collaborative decision with our suppliers and our visiting retailers to solidify the arrangement and re-brand the show to INDX Homewares from 2023.
“We have expert selectors across all home divisions who will continue to work together to bring the industry an exciting, inspirational and inclusive product presentation and we look forward to seeing everyone again in February 2023” – Rachel Breen, Head of Home at AIS
In addition to presenting an impressive selection of top suppliers, the July show also hosted Phil Pond from leading trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus, who treated visiting retailers to an insightful and engaging workshop session focused on consumer behaviour and retail trends.
Furthermore, the multi award-winning wine expert, TV personality, author, and columnist, Olly Smith was on hand to take visitors through a series of lively wine-tasting sessions, plus Groove Collective set a buoyant tone to the after-show drinks event by providing a backdrop of live jazz.
INDX Homewares will return to Cranmore Park on 21-22 February 2023 and visitor registration is open and can be completed via the website: www.indxshows.co.uk/indx-home/homewares/registration
