INDX Homewares February 2023

March 2023 | New Pet lifestyle Category Hailed a Success

INDX Homewares Welcomes New Category and New Visitors to the Show

INDX Homewares recently returned to Cranmore Park for its February 2023 edition, bringing together housewares, linens, soft furnishings, home gift and introducing new category Pets@INDX.

Organised by Associated Independent Stores (AIS), the UK’s leading buying group for Fashion, Home, and Leisure, Rachel Breen, Head of Homewares at AIS remarked that the show had been the "biggest ever homewares show with the highest number of visitors.”

Following the show, Liz Lawson from Lawsons made the following comment:

The atmosphere was great with a buzz of activity and positivity. I loved some of the new suppliers such as Liga and bringing the product to life with demonstrations was also good

Exhibitors have also been quick to praise the show and enjoyed the opportunity to be amongst industry colleagues:

"A very enjoyable 2 days and buyers seemed very relaxed and willing to talk more so than at the bigger shows” - Helen Marshall, Waltons

"The show was great - set up and break down straightforward; layout good…good atmosphere and we certainly want to attend regularly.  Well done AIS and INDX” - David Brown, Potters Crouch

"An amazing show that was very well attended indeed" - Tim Yeadon, Captivate Brands

"As a new member of the group representing Kenwood, Delonghi, Braun and DAD distribution it couldn't have gone any better!" - Katie Clark, DAD

"A really pleasant environment for exhibitors and customers alike" - David Tennant, Dartington Crystal

"The INDX Homewares show provided us with a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products alongside other leading brands and meet with key players in the industry. We look forward to working with our customers in the future." - Stuart Page, Sleepsense International

Additional Buyer Events a Triumph

The show also hosted a series of additional onsite events, including ceramicist Keith Brymer Jones (made legendary by the Great Pottery Throw Down) live throwing on the Forma House stand.  Keith demonstrated his passion for pottery and presented his AIS exclusive collection to AIS Members at the show.

Celebrity style duo Style Sisters met with visitors on the Turner Bianca stand and unveiled their new bedlinen collection.  It’s an exciting time for the sisters, who have shot to fame with their home organisation and interior styling.

Meanwhile, La Pavoni beautifully demonstrated the artistry of coffee making and provided insight into the history, heritage, and passion of the brand.

Pets@INDX Launch Success

New product category Pets@INDX premiered at the show, housed in a new dedicated first floor showroom, and suppliers showcased their latest designs during a daily Dog Walk Fashion Show. Cocker spaniel Luna made everyone feel welcome throughout the two days.
